Bone and Joint pain is the most common condition in population aged over 55 years. Though it is common in both males and females but the prevalence is more in Females than males. Now a days, the lower back ache, pain in knee joints and Cervical pain are the main emerging issues in the population of all ages.The bone and joint pain is also called as Arthralgia and it may or may not involve joint inflammation and arthritis. Sometimes the pain appear to originate from joints but could have different origin such as muscles, tendon and ligaments.

Bursitis and tendonitis are few names with joint pain but different origin. Some bone and joints pain originates with degenerative conditions and last for long periods. We often seek medical attention and treatment for bone and joint pain, swelling and other injuries but the success rate are very low in modern medical sciences. Some common symptoms of bone and joint pain are: – Fever, Pain and stiffness in affected part of the body – Immense pain and stiffness in affected muscles, especially stiffness and pain (i.e., fingers, wrists, elbows, knees, ankles) in the morning – Loss/ reduced motion and movement – weakness and lethargy – Limping movements, cramps &. tics in muscle and redness in affected part – Inability to bear weight and prolonged sitting/ standing. – Stress and reduced sleep.
